Nevinnomysskaya GRES of PJSC EL5-Energo received a comprehensive environmental permit

In June 2024, Nevinnomysskaya GRES received a comprehensive environmental permit (CEP). As part of the reform of environmental legislation in Russia, a new system of environmental impact rationing based on the best available technologies was introduced, according to which all Category I facilities must obtain a new unified permit document - CEP - instead of permits for emissions, discharges and waste.

It is noteworthy that Konakovskaya GRES, also belongs to EL5-Energo, was the first Category I power facility in the country to receive a comprehensive environmental permit.

The receipt of CEP confirmed that all environmental indicators at Nevinnomysskaya GRES comply with the accepted standards.

CEP is issued for 7 years and is subject to partial or full revision in case of changes in the technological processes of the main production facilities, replacement of equipment, raw materials, which resulted in changes in the indicators established in CEP.
