Environmentalist of PJSC EL5-Energo was one of the three winners of the All-Russian Professional Skills Contest

The All-Russian Professional Skills Competition "Best Environmental Safety Specialist 2024", organized by the Corporate Energy University with the support of the Academy of Electrotechnical Sciences of the Russian Federation, was held in Moscow. The event was attended by managers and specialists in the sphere of environmental safety in fuel-and-energy and industrial companies.

According to the results of the jury's assessments, Sergey Kozlov, an environmental engineer at EL5-Energo PJSC, took the honorable third place in the competition, scoring 231.17 points out of a possible 250. A total of 14 specialists from fuel-and-energy and industrial companies of the country fought for victory in the competition.

"Best Environmental Safety Specialist 2024" competition consisted of four rounds. All participants were experienced and well-prepared, so in each round the results in the standings were changing. At the same time, the competition among the competitors was healthy. Everyone was interested in testing themselves and testing their knowledge.

During the competition, the jury evaluated the knowledge of regulatory and legal documents in the field of environmental protection, practical skills of their application in solving environmental cases and in the process of model situations, as well as the experience of providing pre-hospital care in case of an accident at work.

"The tests were difficult. It was important to show a deep knowledge of environmental legislation and perform rather labor-intensive calculations. The most difficult was the stage of providing pre-hospital medical aid in a situation close to the real one. The task was to provide first aid to the injured quickly and correctly. And I coped with it successfully," Sergey Kozlov, an environmental engineer at EL5-Energo PJSC, shared his impressions of participation in the competition.

It is noteworthy that EL5-Energo PJSC pays special attention to environmental conservation, applying safety principles and utilizing modern available technologies to improve the efficiency of power plants while reducing environmental impact.
