Sredneuralskaya GRES supplies reliable heat to consumers
Sredneuralskaya GRES supplies heat carrier to the main network for heating Yekaterinburg, Verkhnyaya Pyshma and Sredneuralsk.
Following the resolutions of Yekaterinburg and Sredneuralsk administrations the power plant arranged circulation and increased feeding of the heat carrier in the main networks. Sredneuralskaya GRES meets all the requirements in terms of temperature, pressure and volume of the heat carrier, its temperature is 78 degrees Celsius. The power plant has also sufficient reserve capacities in case of the required increase in the heat supply including the cases when the peak heat load shall be reached.
We’d like to highlight that Sredneuralskaya GRES is one of the largest heat sources in the energy system of the Sverdlovsk region. It covers about 30% of the heat energy and 40% of the hot water supply consumed in Yekaterinburg and about 100% of the needs of the nearby towns of Verkhnyaya Pyshma and Sredneuralsk. The share of electric power generation by SUGRES in the energy system of the Sverdlovsk region is about 10%.
